It's hard to think that it's been over ten years since the passing of Steve Jobs. He changed computing forever with his innovative thinking and creative products. We remember him today for his incredible impact on the world of technology. This is especially true as this is the time of the year apple releases it's new products: iPhone 14, AirPod Pro 2, Apple Watch Ultra.

Jobs' legacy is most evident in the iPhone, which has become one of the most popular smartphones on the market. He also revolutionized the music industry with the iPod and iTunes. By a show of hands, how many people went straight from a walkman to the iPod? 🙋‍♂️

My favorite feature about Apple is not technology at all. My favorite thing about Apple is how well their hardware and software work together, and how well it feels to use my Apple devices and software. To be clear, I'm definitely an Apple Fanboy (fanman?), but in helping other people with technology, the excellence of Apple usability is obvious. I also don't mean that it makes me feel good, but that it is smooth and snappy and works in a way that gets out of my way so I can use the technology to help with whatever task I'm working on.

Jobs' vision has made Apple one of the most successful companies in the world, and his impact on technology will be felt for years to come. Thank you, Steve, for everything.

Here's a bonus video I found of great moments from Steve Jobs:

He brought computing into the home and made it fashionable. Computers and mobile devices, whether from Microsoft, Google, Apple, or elsewhere are what they are today because of this visionary man.
